Customer Mode in the POS

How customers can use your POS to look up products and place on hold orders for your clerks to process.

Customer mode in the POS lets you to set up your POS as a kiosk, allowing customer to place orders in store. In customer mode, all of the features that should only be available to you and your employees are turned off so that your customer aren't able to change the sell price or adjust their store credit.

Accessing Customer Mode in the POS

  1. When you're in the POS on the bottom right of the screen click the menu button.

  2. Select customer mode.

Features of the Customer Mode:

  • Search Bar (Top left): Allows you to search for a specific product in your inventory.

  • Filter by Category: Refine your search to a specific category.

  • Sort: The order in which the products are displayed.

  • Out of Stock Button: Toggles to display only products in stock, or all products with or without stock in your admin.

  • Green Items box (Bottom left): Display all products in the cart.

  • Order Details: The breakdown of the total of the order.

  • Return to clerk mode: Bring you back to the normal POS mode.
