How to locate products in your database and apply price and quantity.

Inventory > Products Tab Overview


The Inventory > Products Tab is where you will come to update your price and quantity for the products in your database.

You will also navigate to this tab to perform batch updates to large groups of products in your admin.

On the page, you are presented with a number of search filters on the left, a Batch Update section on the right, and a list of potential search results below.

We will use the search filters to find a product or group of product. Upon hitting Search, they will be shown below in the search results. Then we will use the Batch Update section to make changes to those products, or make manual adjustments to the products themselves.

Search Filters:

  • Category Filters: Allows you to refine your search based on the selected category, or groups of categories.

  • Product Type: Allows you to refine your search based on the selected product type.

  • Any Product Type: Allows you to search for an item regardless of product type.

  • Product Filters: Allows you to refine your search based on:
                Name
                Barcode
                Manufacturer SKU
                Tag
                Sell price parameters
                Buy price parameters
                Buy price based on the percentage of the sell price
                MSRP
                Total quantity
                Amount of wishes based on wishlist
                Sell Price based on percentage of the low,mid or high market price
                The amount purchased of a product in an X amount of days
                Optimal quantity

  • Product Type Filters

This section allows you to search based on any of the parameters of the selected product type. These options will be different for each product type. If you select a category, the associated product type will automatically be selected. Below, we have magic Singles selected as an

example.

  • Variant Filters: Allows you to refine your search based on:
                Condition
                Language
                Currently on Buylist
                Has a reserved quantity
                Locked by a reserved quantity
                Use defaults disable (Whether it uses custom buy/sell price percentages
                                                     versus the product types)
                Optimal quantity between a set parameter
                Quantity between a set parameter

Product Management

After the products have been searched and shown below the filters, you can manage your products. Hit the Manage button on one of them. You will see these options below:

Basic Product Adjustments:

  • To update your quantity, click into the Qty field and apply a price. Hit Enter, or hit the Save button in the upper right.

  • To update your price, click into the Sell Price field, and apply a price. Hit Enter, or hit the Save button in the upper right.

  • To update your buy price, click into the Buy Price field and apply a buy price. Hit Enter, or hit the Save button in the upper right.
