What is it?
A product carousel displays some of your inventory in a row. The navigation arrows allow the user to page through additional items that are initially out of view.
What are the benefits?
Increase sales of specific products by surfacing them in key areas of the site, such as on the home page.
What are the features and options?
Title heading
Navigation arrows or dots for paging through products
“View all” link to see items beyond the limited number in the carousel
Various options regarding the display of the products, prices, and additional info
There are two options for product population:
Automatic via a few different criteria which can be discussed with your designer
Manually via control with product tags in your inventory admin area
How do I use it?
If you choose automatic product population during initial setup of the carousel, inventory which fits the search criteria will continually be displayed, so you won’t need to do anything.
If you choose the tag method during initial setup, you will need to manually keep the carousel up to date with the products you want to feature by using tags in the admin*.
