What is it?

The tabbed social widget allows a variety of social media account feeds to be displayed in the space of single widget, with tabs to select which feed to view.

What are the benefits?

Market your brand and socially engage your site visitors with multiple media feeds, while saving space and not cluttering up your site.

What are the features and options?

The following feeds are available:

  • Pinterest - See note below

  • Youtube - See note below

  • Facebook - See note below

  • Twitter

  • Twitch Stream

Important notes:

  • YouTube: The widget does not support a true “feed.” Instead, it embeds a playlist or single video (URL formatting described later in document).

  • Pinterest: This feed must be the first tab, to ensure proper loading

  • Facebook: Only "Pages" are supported. Personal "Accounts" and "Groups" do not work.

  • You may choose a minimum of 2 to a maximum of 4 social media accounts for this widget.

How do I use it?

Pinterest: We will need your Pinterest username

Twitch Stream: We will need your Twitch username

Facebook: Add your full Facebook page URL into the location panel (see image below)

Twitter: Add your full Twitter account or page URL into the location panel (see image below)

Youtube: Add the embed URL, for your video or playlist, into the location panel. (see images and instructions below)

Note: The embed URL is not the same thing as embed code.

The Store Locations Panel: Account > Locations > "Edit"

YouTube: Finding your Playlist ID

  1. Click the Playlist name to view it.

  2. Find the ID after the "&list= " in the browser URL bar.

YouTube Playlist and Video Embed URLs

A playlist embed URL follows this format:

https://www.youtube.com/embed/videoseries?list=[play_list_id_here]

(do not include the [ ] when adding to the admin)

A single video embed URL follows this format:

https://www.youtube.com/embed/[video_id_here]

(do not include the [ ] when adding to the admin)
