Setting Up PayPal IPN

What to do if your PayPal orders are paid for, but are showing up in Awaiting Payment status instead of Payment Received

If you are having issues with orders not receiving Paypal payment confirmations, the follow steps should correct this issue.

1. Log into PayPal 

2. Click on Profile
3. Select "My Selling Tool" 

4. Under the "Getting Paid and managing my risks, select "Update" in the "Instant payment notifications" row.

5.  Select "Edit Setting"

6. Make sure the notification URL is: http://*Youradminname*.crystalcommerce.com/paypal/paypal_ipn
For example, if my admin panel was theteststore-admin.crystalcommerce.com, I would enter the following for my notification URL: http://theteststore.crystalcommerce.com/paypal/paypal_ipn

7. Check the circle for "Receive IPN messages (Enabled)".

 8. Click "Save"
